Copper Baths and Cornish Escapes are this years must have combination for the perfect Autumnal retreat. Think wide open spaces, wild oceans and nights of a thousand stars, all wrapped up in a cosy haven of luxury. This is what Wooldown offers…. And it’s there just waiting for you 😊

Copper Baths and Cornish Escapes at Wooldown Holiday Cottages

Originally built in 1906, the location was chosen due to the far reaching views of the Cornish countryside and fresh coastal air, both thought to be beneficial for health and wellbeing for those lucky enough to live here. Fast forward to the 21st century and that very search for health and wellness infuses every detail of this luxurious retreat.

Designed exclusively for adults, their collection of cottages and apartments that nestle into the hillside now provide the perfect resting place to unwind, re-connect and make memories to last a lifetime.

All uniquely designed and styled to reflect different aspects of the Cornish countryside, from cosy country style to contemporary open living show casing the expansive views beyond, each retreat has its own luxurious and memorable touches, including… you’ve guessed it… magnificent copper baths to while away those peaceful evenings in pure, tranquil bliss.

“We received our first copper bath from William Holland 15 years ago

and it still looks as good as the day it arrived!

Since then, we’ve had an additional nine copper air-spa baths fitted into our adult-only

accommodation which have been perfect and something a little different from a

traditional hot-tub which we have found guests really appreciate and enjoy the benefit of

chemical-free bathing!

All the baths look stunning and are a real wow factor when the guests first arrive.” – Wooldown Holiday Cottages

Sunseeker boasts the largest of these luxury bathtubs. Made from pure copper and finished using artisan tin, this Alvius Copper bath sits in front of stunning bi-fold doors that open out onto the wild countryside views beyond. Placed beneath a grand skylight, guests can immerse themselves in the copper bath jacuzzi whilst gazing up at the stars.

Guests can immerse themselves in the sumptuous warmth, while the jacuzzi bubbles soothe your cares away and the sun sets across the glimmering sea of Widemouth Bay.
