The beauty is in the details
Copper
Our pure copper baths are polished by hand through an extensive seven-stage process to achieve a reflective finish. A specialist William Holland coating protects the polished appearance. Brushed copper offers a softer, understated sheen, while an uncoated copper surface is designed to develop a natural patina over time.
Nickel
Nickel is created using a specialist William Holland plating technique. Its lustrous finish has a gentle warm undertone and complements traditional and contemporary interiors alike. Brushed nickel is also available for a softer, muted appearance.
Brass
Our pure brass baths are carefully polished using a seven-stage process to create a bright, golden surface. A bespoke protective coating can preserve this polished appearance without regular polishing. Alternatively, brushed brass produces a softer satin effect, while uncoated brass develops an individual antique patina over time.
Tin
Tin is applied by hand over the beaten copper using traditional artisan techniques. Its distinctive texture reveals subtle changes in tone and the marks of skilled hand finishing, making it particularly suited to rustic, industrial and understated bathroom schemes.
Patina
Our patina finish draws upon the depth and richness of naturally aged copper. Using specialist techniques, our craftspeople create an antique character that can continue to deepen and change over time. This is a living finish rather than a fixed, mirror-polished surface.
Verdigris
Verdigris is a distinctive living finish inspired by copper’s natural response to its environment. Our specialist techniques create organic aqua and green tones, with natural variation adding character to each handcrafted bath.
Enamel
For a crisp white finish, William Holland applies a hard-wearing epoxy enamel to the copper surface. The resulting gloss complements the bath’s handcrafted form while preserving the benefits of its copper construction. Discuss the suitable interior and exterior enamel combinations with our team.
RAL Colours
We can combine selected metal finishes with interior or exterior enamel colours from the RAL spectrum. Whether you want a restrained neutral or a distinctive statement colour, our team can discuss the possibilities for your chosen bath model.

Can I see the finishes before ordering?
Our Dorset showroom displays a range of baths and finishes. We also offer free finish sample swatches, or you can purchase a miniature bath finished in your chosen finish, with the purchase price refunded when you return it. Contact our team to request swatches, arrange a miniature bath or check which finishes are available to view at the showroom.
