Nestle down in the Dorset Wilderness at The Coop, the newest addition to Outbuildings collection of unique luxury, wild stays.

Converted from an old chicken coop (believe it or not!) with views over the West Dorset valley’s and set in a tranquil glade away from the rest of the farm, The Coop is filled with luxuriously rustic features.

Inside the full height space with stunning exposed beams is a world of characterful design. With antique leather sofas to while away cosy nights in front of the log burning stove, a copper kitchen to cook up a feast from one of their delicious food hampers and a marshmallowy king-sized bed to while away the nights in blissful slumber, The Coop has everything you need for the perfect escape.

Lovingly designed from the heart up by the family team, each and every building is unique, quirky and full of warmth. Maximising the stunning West Dorset skies, interiors are flooded with light by day thanks to the bespoke crittal doors that open on to the private porch with al fresco bathtub and views of the meadow beyond.

Handmade from pure copper and aged to perfection, you can bathe in nature and watch the world (and sheep) pass by! The unique Verdigris aesthetic is a ‘living finish’ gently formed through natural environmental oxidation. An organic process that usually takes years to unfold, the finish is captured through a combination of special techniques and modern innovation to present a stunning work of art deeply rooted within nature.

For long lazy summer weekends or cosy autumnal getaways, The Coop is a delight of a destination, quirky, intimate and full of those feel good back to nature vibes.
