Full of laid back luxury and flamboyant flair, Samantha and Dougie Bruce’s home is a magical soiree of eclectic, quirky and surprising details.

From supersized fairground lights, neon and vintage shop signs to antique French mirrors, the mix creates a symphony of genres that delight the imagination.

Contemporary Art adorns the walls beneath glittering chandeliers; an iconic 1960’s brass palm lamp rubs shoulders with a decadent marble table whilst classic worn leather armchairs pair with a vibrant Togo Sofa.

Head to the bathrooms and the creative mix continues. A re-loved ladder casually propped against the wall creates a sincere take on the notion of up-cycling. Used as a minimalist shoe rack the raw honesty of this holds a wonderful integrity of purpose. However, it is the ‘spectacular’ copper bath placed proudly on an inlaid mat of marble tiles set into the original 1930’s oak floor that steals the show. Placed beneath a striking neon sign, sourced from an antiques fair, the declaration is perfectly apt for the minimalist yet quirky space. Heaven is indeed a copper bath!
