1.) Where do the bubbles come from?

All William Holland Copper Baths can be fitted with air jets to enjoy the full jacuzzi bath experience. The jets are fitted into the base of the bath and powered by an air pump using a standard 240V Domestic electrical feed.

2.) How do outdoor baths maintain the heat?

All William Holland Baths are made from pure copper. This means they maintain the heat exceptionally well with no need for any external heat source. They are even used outside ski lodges!

3.) Are Copper Outdoor Baths a chemical free alternative to the Hot Tub?

Yes, unlike Hot Tubs, our copper baths naturally retain the heat for a long, luxurious soak and use fresh water for each use. They are emptied and filled just as you would a normal tub. This means, when combined with the natural anti-microbial properties of copper they are completely chemical free and require no complex chemical maintenance

4.) Isn’t it a waste of water?

Not at all! As these baths are completely chemical free, the water can be re-purposed. Many clients drain these into a water tank and re-use the water to feed the garden.

5.) Are they easy to maintain?

William Holland Copper Outdoor Baths are extremely easy to maintain. Copper does not corrode and simply gets more beautiful with age. All you have to do is relax and enjoy.

6.) Which copper bath models are suitable for outdoor use?

Made from pure copper, all William Holland bath models are suitable for outdoor use. However, there are certain finishes we recommend specifically for outdoor bathing. These are Raw Copper, Verdigris, Patina and Artisan Tin.

7.) Do they require a cover?

Our outdoor baths do not require a cover. They are designed to breathe. Simply rinse out before and after use and you are good to go!

8.) What surfaces can these baths be placed on?

The baths themselves are light in weight and can be placed on just about any surface. Our clients have installed these on patio’s, gravel, tiles, even on decking suspended among the trees!

9.)Are the William Holland copper baths comfortable to bathe in?

Oh yes, the design of our Baths allows you to bathe in a more upright position and the generously proportioned curves wrap comfortably around your shoulders. Our outdoor Baths are deeper than standard baths, ensuring that there are no shoulders or knees above the waterline, encouraging you to luxuriate and soak.

10.)Do the William Holland outdoor baths come with any guarantee?

Certainly, a William Holland Outdoor Bath comes with a 10-year construction guarantee and a three-year finish guarantee, although as copper is non-corrosive it will last several lifetimes. Should you decide to remodel your bathroom in the future, we can arrange to remove and refinish the bath to your specification from our extensive range of finishes.

11.) Can William Holland arrange shipping overseas?

William Holland have their own in-house crating service and will arrange sea or airfreight all over the world on your behalf.

12.)What are the lead times for your products?

All of the baths are hand finished to order so as standard are a 6 to 8-week lead time, however, as we do keep everything in stock we can always be flexible on this if you need something delivered quicker for your project then please get in touch.

The basins, kitchen sinks, and shower trays are a 4 to 5-week lead time as standard, again if you do require something quicker then please get in touch.
