1.) Where do the bubbles come from?

All William Holland Copper Baths can be fitted with air jets to enjoy the full jacuzzi bath experience. The jets are fitted into the base of the bath and powered by an air pump using a standard 240V Domestic electrical feed.

2.) Which copper bath models are suitable for outdoor use?

Made from pure copper, all William Holland bath models are suitable for outdoor use. However there are certain finishes we recommend specifically for outdoor bathing. These are Raw Copper, Verdigris, Patina and Artisan Tin.

3.)How do outdoor baths maintain the heat?

All William Holland Baths are made from pure copper. This means they maintain the heat exceptionally well with no need for any external heat source. They are even used outside ski lodges!

4.) Do they require a cover?

Our outdoor baths do not require a cover. They are designed to breathe. Simply rinse out before and after use and you are good to go!

5.) Are they easy to maintain?

William Holland Copper Outdoor Baths are extremely easy to maintain. Copper does not corrode and simply gets more beautiful with age. All you have to do is relax and enjoy.

6.) What surfaces can these baths be placed on?

1.) They hold the heat!

Contrary to popular belief Copper baths warm up quickly and retain heat much more effectively than most alternative bath materials. Copper and Brass are both exceptional conductors which in this unique situation actually works in the bathtubs favour As the tub fills with water the heat permeates through the copper to give a glorious all-over warmth but requires very little energy to do so, keeping all that lovely heat circulating through the the water. In comparison with a cast iron bath the Copper or Brass will maintain the heat for much, much longer. Even after the water has been drained away our baths remain warm for an hour or so.

2.) All William Holland maintain their shine!

Basic raw copper baths patinate extremely quickly. They react with air and moisture to create a dark bronze tone. Wax WILL NOT protect your finish as it melts at a lower temperature than most bath water, polish will rinse off…. And no one wants to be bathing in a sea of wax and polish. However William Holland baths are completely unique and come protected with a clear, baked on hard wearing compound that completely seals the copper and prevents any patination from developing.
